In the aftermath of the tragic events in Machka, where 12 police officers lost their lives and 8 others were injured, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz visited Rahim Yar Khan. During her visit, she strongly condemned the attackers responsible for the violence.
The Chief Minister visited Sheikh Zayed Hospital to meet the injured officers. There, she reassured them that justice would be pursued relentlessly, ensuring that those responsible for the attack would be held accountable.
Furthermore, Maryam Nawaz took the time to meet with the families of the fallen officers, including those of three Hindu officers. She offered her deepest sympathies and announced initiatives to support the children of the deceased officers, promising them free education, housing, and job opportunities.
Recognizing the need to learn from past errors, Maryam Nawaz vowed to take corrective actions. She stressed the importance of preventing such tragedies in the future and reaffirmed her commitment to supporting the affected families, ensuring that they receive the help and care they need.
