According to rescue sources, the deceased include four individuals from Tuansa Sharif and one from the Malir area of Karachi, reflecting the far-reaching impact of this tragedy on different communities.
In light of the incident, Islamabad’s Deputy Commissioner, Irfan Memon, has launched an investigation to uncover the cause of the collapse. As a precautionary measure, the building has been sealed. The injured workers are currently receiving treatment at a hospital in the federal capital.
