Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi says that allowing continued humanitarian crisis in Gaza cannot be permitted, and it should be immediately halted.
Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, Wang Yi emphasized that “China: Cannot Allow Ongoing Humanitarian Devastation in Gaza” is the fundamental reason for the escalation in the Red Sea. He called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and urgent access to humanitarian aid
Their further statement was that an international peace conference should be held soon for a two-state solution.
Israeli attacks continue in Gaza, with another 30 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes in Deir al-Balah.
At Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, Israeli forces raided, damaging surgical equipment, shutting down generators, and arresting 100 Palestinians.
Meanwhile, severe food shortages in northern Gaza have left an 8-year-old girl severely malnourished. Hamas has denied any talks of providing aid to Gaza.
