Gold Prices Drop Again in Pakistan: Key Details

On Wednesday, a noticeable decline in gold prices was observed in Pakistan, mirroring the downturn seen in the global market. The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported a reduction of Rs1,400 in the price of gold per tola, which now stands at Rs260,100.

Likewise, the price for gold per 10 grams fell by Rs1,200, resulting in a new rate of Rs222,994.

In contrast, silver prices remained unchanged at Rs2,950 per tola. This stability in silver prices occurred amidst the backdrop of falling international gold rates. Globally, the price of gold dropped by $17 per ounce, with the new rate settling at $2,481, plus a $20 premium.

The recent decrease follows a peak in gold prices last month, when the rate reached a record high of Rs263,700 per tola in Pakistan.
