Hajj Flights Start Bringing Pilgrims Home with Happiness
A special moment was shared by many families today as the first flight carrying 307 Pakistani pilgrims after Hajj 2025 safely arrived at Islamabad International Airport. The flight landed early Wednesday, marking the beginning of the post-Hajj return operations hajj flight. The pilgrims were warmly welcomed upon arrival. Family members and loved ones gathered at the airport with joy and excitement. Their smiles and emotions showed how much they had missed their returning relatives.
Dr. Syed Ata Ur Rehman, Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, shared details about the return flight of the Hajj pilgrims. He said that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-732 took off from King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah at 8:50 PM local time. The flight carried pilgrims who had completed their Hajj journey. It safely landed at Islamabad Airport early in the morning at 3:50 AM. The timely arrival marked a smooth start to the post-Hajj flight operations hajj flight.
The return of Hajj pilgrims is bringing joy across the country. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary, the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, kindly welcomed the Hajj pilgrims when they reached the airport. The process of bringing pilgrims back home started today and will keep going as more flights land in different cities of Pakistan hajj flight. As told by the Civil Aviation Authority, the third flight will reach Lahore at 11:50 in the morning.
After that, the fourth flight will arrive in Islamabad at 12:10 PM, the fifth in Multan at 12:35 PM, and the sixth in Karachi at 1:35 PM. One more flight, the seventh, is also expected to land in Lahore at 2:30 PM. Families are excited and ready to welcome their loved ones back home.
Hajj Flights Keep Coming Back to Pakistan’s Cities
The journey back home after Hajj is now in full motion. PIA’s first return flight from Madinah, PK-7030, will head to Lahore on June 12 at 3:30 PM, carrying nearly 307 pilgrims hajj flight. The flight is expected to land in Lahore at 10:30 PM the same night. The series of return flights will go on for a few more weeks and will wrap up on July 10. On the final day, flight PK-7094 will bring 437 pilgrims from Madinah to Islamabad, reaching at 12:30 PM. This marks the closing chapter of a blessed journey for many.
As pilgrims begin their journey home, preparations are fully underway. In the coming weeks, 342 flights operated by PIA, private airlines, and Saudi carriers will bring back nearly 88,390 pilgrims who performed Hajj under the government scheme hajj flight. Dr. Syed Ata Ur Rehman shared that over 115,000 Pakistanis completed Hajj this year through both government and private arrangements. To ensure their safe and easy return, the Pakistan Hajj Mission has put strong plans in place.
These efforts aim to make every pilgrim’s return a peaceful and memorable one. Medical teams, support staff, and help desks have been set up at airports to assist the pilgrims. Special transport and food services have also been arranged for their comfort. Families across the country are eagerly waiting to welcome their loved ones back home.
