In Changa Manga, Punjab, a tragic incident occurred involving a Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) worker. Nasir, a member of the LESCO staff, suffered severe injuries after receiving an electric shock while working on 11KV power lines. According to reports, he was immediately transported to the hospital following the accident.
Upon his arrival at the hospital, the medical team conducted an assessment and, unfortunately, determined that both of Nasir’s arms needed to be amputated to save his life. The LESCO staff mentioned that Nasir had been assigned to work at the Sidha feeder, acting under the orders of SDO Amjad.
It was later claimed that Nasir had been assured that the electricity supply had been cut off from the grid. However, it was discovered that the power was still active, which led to the devastating accident.
