Karachi will not experience any rainfall on Thursday, as the westerly wave affecting the region has weakened. While there may be some light rain or drizzle in the outskirts of the city, meteorologists have indicated that significant rain is unlikely monsoon winds.
According to Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz, the reduction in the intensity of monsoon winds has decreased the likelihood of rain in Karachi. As a result, the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy and humid, with the current temperature hovering around 29°C.
The Met Office has forecasted that the temperature in Karachi could reach between 32°C and 34°C during the day, with the minimum temperature recorded earlier at 27°C. Winds are blowing at a speed of 18 km/h in the city, contributing to the humid conditions.
Elsewhere in the country, the weather is predicted to stay mostly hot and dry. However, certain areas in eastern Sindh, including Mirpur Khas, Umarkot, Mithi, and Tharparkar, might receive rain accompanied by thunderstorms monsoon winds.
Similarly, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and nearby hilly regions are also likely to experience rainfall with gusty winds and thunderstorms in some areas.
