Meanwhile, in response to increased regional tensions. Several major air routes in Lahore and Sialkot were temporarily suspended for commercial flights earlier this morning, as confirmed by airport authorities.

The closures of air routes, which started early Thursday morning, are expected to last until noon today. Several PIA flights got disrupted after the airspace was closed. A flight traveling from Medina was rerouted to Karachi, bypassing Lahore due to the ongoing airspace restrictions.
