Following the recent announcement from the Government College University Lahore administration, students will face new restrictions on their choice of clothing. A dress code has been instituted, prohibiting the wearing of jeans and T-shirts on campus.
In accordance with the notification issued by the university, male students must now adhere to a dress code that requires them to don dress pants and shirts. For female students, the mandate specifies that they should “observe simplicity” by wearing only cotton dresses.
This dress code policy, as outlined on the GCU website, is applicable to all students enrolled in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Consequently, a uniform standard of attire will now be enforced across the university.
