New Dress Code at GCU: Jeans and T-Shirts Banned for Students

Following the recent announcement from the Government College University Lahore administration, students will face new restrictions on their choice of clothing. A dress code has been instituted, prohibiting the wearing of jeans and T-shirts on campus.

In accordance with the notification issued by the university, male students must now adhere to a dress code that requires them to don dress pants and shirts. For female students, the mandate specifies that they should “observe simplicity” by wearing only cotton dresses.

This dress code policy, as outlined on the GCU website, is applicable to all students enrolled in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Consequently, a uniform standard of attire will now be enforced across the university.

At Government College University Lahore, new dress code rules have been introduced to improve discipline and maintain decorum. According to a notification shared by The News, both male and female students must now follow these guidelines.

The university has stressed the importance of dressing appropriately and warned that failing to do so might result in penalties. Students who do not comply with the dress code could be fined if their attire is deemed inappropriate.
