Pakistan Destroys 25 Israeli Drones During Tensions with India, ISPR

Successful Interception of Israeli-Made Drones

On Thursday, the ISPR confirmed that Pakistan successfully took down Destroys 25 Israeli Drones . These drones, launched by India, were part of an effort to carry out cross-border attacks, targeting several cities across Pakistan during the night of May 7 and 8.

In a press conference, ISPR Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry shared that the drones were intercepted and destroyed near several major cities, including Karachi,  Lahore, Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Bahawalpur, Mianwali, Gujranwala, Attock, and Chhor.

Lt Gen Chaudhry explained that the drones entered Pakistani airspace in a planned attack overnight, aiming at civilian areas. Thankfully, Pakistan’s air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed all of them. Including the  Destroys 25 Israeli Drones  launched by India.

According to the ISPR, one civilian was killed in the attacks, and five others were injured. Four of those injured were soldiers in Lahore, and one soldier was hurt in Miano, Sindh, where the civilian death was also reported.

The military spokesperson described the attacks as a “clear violation of international law” and a major threat to regional stability. He expressed concern that India’s aggressive behavior is becoming a dangerous trend. He further noted that the airstrikes on May 6 and 7 targeted civilian zones, causing additional damage and resulting in more casualties, including children.

Pakistan’s Strong Defensive Actions

Lt Gen Chaudhry stated that Pakistan’s defensive actions resulted in the destruction of five advanced aircraft and drones used by India. This demonstrated Pakistan’s strength and readiness to destroy 25 Israeli drones and protect its sovereignty.

He emphasized that this was a clear sign of India’s distress. Especially after several of its border posts were destroyed and one of its soldiers was killed.

He explained that while Pakistan has exercised restraint and maintained a calm approach. The country is fully committed to protecting its sovereignty at all costs. “Our armed forces are always on high alert, monitoring every potential threat. Should any form of aggression arise, we are ready to respond swiftly and decisively to ensure the safety and security of our nation,” he emphasized.

The ISPR chief urged the international community to act without delay. Emphasizing the rising threat from India’s ongoing use of drones and airspace violations. “These actions pose a serious risk to peace and stability in South Asia, and they must be universally condemned
