In a recent Instagram post, Pakistani actress Zara Noor Abbas has voiced her outrage over a disturbing incident of harassment that occurred last week in North Karachi. The video she shared shows a man on a motorcycle, with a child in tow, harassing a woman wearing a hijab. This unsettling event unfolded in broad daylight, directly in front of the child.
In her caption, Abbas condemned the incident, emphasizing the dangerous example set for the child witnessing the harassment. She remarked, “Raising another generation of harassers while they are on the bike. Children are puppets. They do what they see. And this man on the bike is leading by example here for the child.”
The actress expressed a profound frustration, even wishing she could have taken drastic action against the harasser. The incident has sparked widespread condemnation from various celebrities, including Sajal Aly and Maryam Nafees, who have all voiced their disapproval.
Despite the clear video evidence showing the harasser’s face, media reports indicate that the police have yet to make an arrest.
