In Killa Abdullah, a heroic rescue operation took place during severe flooding, led by an excavator operator named Mohibullah. A family, trapped by the rising waters, was saved thanks to Mohibullah’s courageous actions. The entire operation was conducted by Mohibullah alone, who risked his own life to ensure the safety of others.
As a result of his bravery, several rewards were bestowed upon him. The Quetta corps commander granted him a sum of Rs. 0.5 million. Furthermore, a scholarship was provided for his son’s education by the Balochistan government. Alongside these, Hilal-e-Ahmar Balochistan Chairman Abdul Wali Khan Ghabizai and Awami National Party member Zamrak Khan Achakzai each contributed Rs. 0.2 million as a token of appreciation for his efforts.
Transitioning to the public response, widespread praise was directed at Mohibullah from all corners of the country. His heroic actions were further acknowledged by Killa Abdullah Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Farooq, who presented him with an appreciation certificate and an additional cash prize.
Although honored with various accolades, Mohibullah remained humble throughout. He emphasized that it was the desperate cries of the children trapped in the flood that spurred him into action. Despite the offers, he declined any payment from the vehicle owner, declaring that his motivation was purely for the sake of Allah. Through these selfless deeds, Mohibullah has been celebrated as a hero, and his extraordinary bravery continues to be recognized by many.
