Maryam Nawaz, the Senior Vice President and Chief Organizer of PMLN, said on Sunday that people who don’t like our country’s rules are upset because Nawaz Sharif, the former prime minister, is coming back.
Maryam mentioned this during a meeting in Azad Jammu and Kashmir for PMLN, where they talked about bringing Nawaz Sharif back.
The head organizer of PMLN said that Nawaz Sharif is coming back home to help people deal with rising prices. During the meeting, people cheered for Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz, saying that Nawaz Sharif’s return will benefit Pakistanis and Kashmiris.
Last week, at an event organized by the party’s Muslim Students Federation, she talked about the time when she was arrested in front of Nawaz himself. She told everyone that even though he was upset, he told her to stay calm and collected.
Maryam talked about the difficulties she encountered in her legal fights, highlighting her innocence.
She talked about going to court and said she always supported her father during his tough times, no matter what others did.
Without holding back her criticism, Maryam openly mocked the group of five judges on the Supreme Court who were responsible for her father’s disqualification. She called them the iqama bench and remarked, Even if she can forgive, God won’t.
She blamed the top court judges for the recent rise in prices and economic problems, and she said it made life hard for the people in Pakistan who were already finding it tough to manage their expenses.
She said her father was the main reason Pakistan became a nuclear power. She believed all of Pakistan’s strategies came from her father, not from Imran Khan or his party. She dared anyone to find even one plan that belonged to Imran Khan.
She praised the PML-N government’s accomplishments, highlighting that the residents of Peshawar now enjoy the convenience of a metro bus system, a project initiated by her party.
