The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan has advised political parties protesting against election rigging to demonstrate patience and tolerance.
While addressing a press conference in Karachi, MQM’s Senior Deputy Convener, Mustafa Kamal, expressed concern that it seems like there are issues in the elections for the first time. It seems issues have arisen for the first time in the elections MQM advises political parties to show tolerance. Previously, all elections were conducted properly without any problem, and everyone used to patiently resolve national issues.
Mustafa Kamal said that everyone is threatening protests for their own interests. Let’s not take the country towards chaos.
They further said that circulating images against the Election Commission’s officials on PTI’s social media is an extremely wrong practice.
The MQM leader mentioned that they do not recall any rigging in the 2018 elections when polling agents were removed, and the former chairman of PTI was declared the winner in 2018. It seems issues have arisen for the first time in the elections MQM advises political parties to show tolerance. Nobody criticized back then..
