Pakistani Meat Gains Momentum in China: $2.6 Million Export Boom in Just 7 Months

China demand for Pakistani meat has surged from January to July 2024. During this period, meat exports from Pakistan to China saw significant growth, reaching an impressive $2.6 million in value. Boiled beef, in particular, has become the top product in this booming trade.

The quality of Pakistani meat has increasingly attracted Chinese consumers, making Pakistan a key supplier of premium meat products. The rapid expansion of exports is attributed to the high quality of the meat and the competitive pricing Pakistan offers. This combination has helped Pakistan secure its position in the Chinese market.

Owais Mir, Chairman of the DEA Group, emphasized that the success of boiled beef exports demonstrates the strong economic collaboration between Pakistan and China. Their mutual efforts have played a crucial role in boosting these exports.

In the first seven months of 2024 alone, Pakistan exported 540 tons of boiled meat, generating $2.607 million. Three Pakistani companies are authorized to carry out these exports, and their success is driving optimism in the industry. Experts believe that this upward trend in meat exports will continue.

Looking ahead, the growing meat trade between Pakistan and China is expected to not only strengthen economic ties but also create more trade opportunities between the two nations. This success signals a promising future for both countries in the global meat market.
