The Most Polluted Cities Lahore Tops, Karachi Ranks Seventh

Lahore tops the list of the world’s most polluted cities, while Karachi ranks seventh.

According to the Air Quality Index, Lahore remained at the top of the list of most polluted cities today, with an Air Quality Index of 413 recorded.

According to the Air Quality Index, Lahore’s air quality is dangerously unhealthy.
On the other hand, Delhi ranked second among the world’s most polluted cities, with an Air Quality Index of 242 recorded.

Meanwhile, Karachi’s air quality is also unhealthy. Karachi ranks seventh on the list of most polluted cities, with an Air Quality Index of 173 recorded.

It’s important to note that according to the AQI, an index between 151 and 200 is considered unhealthy, between 201 and 300 is very unhealthy, and above 301 is hazardous pollution.
