Naval Chief Meets Hamza, the World Junior Squash Champion

On Saturday, Muhammad Hamza Khan, who is the World Junior Squash Champion, met with Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, the Chief of the Naval Staff, at Naval Headquarters.

Not long ago, Hamza won the Squash Championship for young players (under 19) in the world. This happened in Melbourne, Australia. It’s been 36 years since a squash player from Pakistan has achieved such an amazing victory. This has made the whole country feel very proud.

In the meeting, the top Navy person praised the young winner for winning and making the country proud. The Navy Chief liked Hamza’s hard work and told him to keep playing Squash with lots of dedication and effort in future competitions.

Because he did really well, the leader of the Navy gave the winner a money prize of 500,000 rupees and a free membership for life at the Pakistan Navy Roshan Khan Jahangir Khan Squash Complex in Karachi.

Hamza Khan said thank you to the Chief of the Naval Staff and Pakistan Navy. He was really thankful for their strong help in making Squash more popular in the country.

He said that PN’s commitment to sports is shown by organizing CNS Open National and International Squash Championships regularly.
